The Mighty Black and Gold Needs Your Help!

The Runcorn Playing Fields are the heart of St Laurence’s College sporting codes; and the SLC Old Boys’ Association is looking to create an inaugural ceremonial staircase to be positioned at the base of the Players Changing Rooms to allow our sporting teams a commanding access to their playing fields.

The ceremonial staircase is expected to be the first of a number of small projects that SLC Old Boys’ intend to undertake in collaboration with the College. The St Laurence’s College Old Boy Association would truly value further Lauries’ Community support through financial and in-kind contributions towards this transformational redevelopment.

Thank you to Old Boys’ Paul Sheppard (‘80), David Turnbull (‘88) and Denis Brown (‘59) who have already generously given their efforts in helping with the design and estimation processes for this project. Below/Above is the draft design and proposed location for the staircase.

The Old Boys’ Association would like to have this completed prior to our First XI Old Boy Cricket event held in January 2019. In order to do this, we need your help. All monetary donations above $2 are tax deductible and can be made by clicking here or contacting the College Director of Communications, Development and Events Helen Turner on (07) 3010 1178 or hturner@slc.qld.edu.au
