The Old Boy Weekend surpassed previous expectations…

Awash by eight decades of Lauries’ Old Boys, the Old Boy Weekend surpassed previous expectations and was dubbed “The SLC Old Boy Irish Wedding” by a College staff member; due to its four-day celebratory period.

One of the precious gifts a Lauries’ education bestows is the legacy of mate-ship and the sense of community. These are forged by the strong bonds that are developed at St Laurence’s College and continue to flourish even after the student leaves the care and support of the “The Hill”.

This was reflected by the vast success of this year’s Old Boy Weekend, with more than 600 guests, including Old Boys from the Class of 1944, celebrating and reminiscing of the good old days of the Black and Gold with classmates and faculty, past and present.
