SLConX

In 2022, the Old Boys’ in conjunction with the College launched SLConX. SLConX is about creating career connections between Old Boys and current students at the College. In its first year, four sessions were held to great feedback, ranging in topics from Construction Management to Health, Creative Industries and Engineering and Aviation. The concept gives boys the opportunity to hear from Old Boys talking about their journey and experiences in their chosen fields. The journey is never always a straightforward one and such insights can assist boys when deciding on their own path. SLCCoX is open to boys in Years 10-12.

The Old Boys’ Association also ran a competition to come up with a suitable name for the events. Former College Captain and one of our newest Life Members, Michael Teys (1979) came up with the brilliant SLConX—connecting Old Boys with current students through careers.

Dates and topics for 2024 are now confirmed as follows
