On Saturday 25 July, St Laurence’s College proudly unveiled the newly installed Runcorn Picket Fence and engraved plaques.
Led by College Principal, Mr Ben Lowrie, the unveiling ceremony brought together current students, Old Boys, families and supporters, each of whom have played a role in creating a unique and lasting tribute through the purchase of personalised picket plaques. The project provides members of the Lauries community with a tangible way to commemorate their connection to the College while contributing to its continuing legacy.
We are excited to confirm that Round 2 of the picket campaign is now live, offering more members of the Lauries community the opportunity to secure their own picket.
Picket Sponsorship Options include:
- Individual Picket – $250 each
- Generational Pickets (Set of 5) – $1,100 per set
All donations via the Australian Sports Foundation are tax-deductible.
Generational Pickets allow donors to sponsor a set of five pickets, which may be personalised individually or left unnamed for future generations to honour. Each plaque can include up to three lines of text (14 characters per line), with recognition styles such as family names, initials or more. Once a donation is made, the College Advancement Team will contact donors to confirm their preferred inscription.
